Legal Notice
Last Updated: June 2026
This Legal Notice governs the access to and use of the website, platform, interface, and smart contracts operated under the brand name OxBit (collectively, the "Platform" or "OxBit"). By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Legal Notice.
IMPORTANT RISK WARNING: Trading and interacting with decentralized protocols involve significant financial risk. Cryptocurrencies and digital assets are highly volatile. You risk losing all capital allocated to smart contracts or trading positions. OxBit is a non-custodial software interface and does not manage, hold, or secure your funds.
1. Decentralized Interface Nature
OxBit functions exclusively as a decentralized, non-custodial graphical user interface ("Interface") that allows users to interact directly with immutable smart contracts deployed on public blockchain networks.
OxBit does not operate a centralized exchange, does not match buy and sell orders, does not hold custody of any digital assets, does not manage private keys, and does not process user deposits or withdrawals. All transactions occur directly peer-to-peer or peer-to-contract via your own non-custodial wallet architecture (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet).
2. No Financial or Professional Advice
All information, content, data, or metrics displayed on or through the Platform are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing contained on the Platform constitutes legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. You should not rely on any information provided on the Platform as a substitute for professional financial or legal consultation.
3. "As-Is" and "As-Available" Software
The Platform and Interface are provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, OxBit disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, availability, or uninterrupted operations.
We do not guarantee that the Interface will be error-free, that data transmitted will be completely secure, or that the underlying smart contracts are completely immune to exploits, cyberattacks, or technical bugs.
4. Regulatory Compliance and Restricted Jurisdictions
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the Platform complies with all local, national, and international laws, regulations, and economic sanctions applicable to them.
You strictly represent and warrant that you are not a citizen, resident, or organized under the laws of any jurisdiction where the use of decentralized protocols, cryptographic tokens, or decentralized exchanges is illegal, restricted, or subject to sanctions (including but not limited to the EEA countries, United States, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, or the Crimea region). OxBit reserves the right to employ technological measures, such as geoblocking, to restrict access from prohibited jurisdictions.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall OxBit, its developers, contributors, agents, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to losses arising from:
• User error, such as forgotten passwords, private keys, or misdirected blockchain transactions.
• Server failures, network congestion, malicious node infrastructure, or third-party RPC issues.
• Smart contract exploits, protocol vulnerabilities, hacks, or bugs.
• Fluctuations in the market value of cryptographic assets or permanent loss of liquidity pool positions (impermanent loss).
• Regulatory changes, enforcement actions, or sudden shifts in legality within your jurisdiction.
6. External Links and Third-Party Protocols
The Platform may integrate, interface with, or contain links to third-party web protocols, applications, decentralized applications (dApps), or bridges. OxBit exercises no operational control over third-party architectures and assumes no responsibility for their performance, security, content, privacy policies, or business practices.
7. Intellectual Property
The visual content, logos, text, design, and graphics of the Interface are the property of OxBit or its licensors, unless stated otherwise or where open-source components are utilized. Brand identifiers and trade dress may not be copied or simulated without explicit permission.
8. Amendments and Dynamic Updates
OxBit reserves the absolute right to modify, alter, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Interface or this Legal Notice at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Continued interaction with the Interface post-amendment constitutes full legal acceptance of the updated terms.
