Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to OxBit (the "Platform", "Interface", "we", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and OxBitgoverning your access to and use of our decentralized exchange interface, website (https://oxbit.exchange), and related software services.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY CONNECTING YOUR WALLET OR USING THE INTERFACE, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU UNDERSTAND, ACCEPT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM ACCESSING THE INTERFACE.

1. Eligibility & Restricted Jurisdictions

By using OxBit, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the full legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Prohibited Localities: You must not access or use OxBit if you are located in, a citizen of, or a resident of any country subject to economic sanctions or export controls (including but not limited to the EEA countries, United States, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, or the Crimea region). You represent that you are not listed on any international sanctions or watchlists (such as the US OFAC SDN list).

2. Non-Custodial Architecture & Wallet Security

OxBit is a decentralized software application. We do not provide cryptographic wallet services, custody your digital assets, or store your private keys, seed phrases, or credentials.

Your interactions with the smart contracts are mediated entirely through your self-custodial web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet). You are solely responsible for keeping your credentials secure. OxBit has zero capacity to retrieve, restore, or reverse transactions, nor can we recover lost keys or assets.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Interface to engage in or facilitate any illegal activities. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

• Violating any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

• Money laundering, terrorist financing, or handling proceeds of criminal operations.

• Market manipulation, wash trading, front-running, spoofing, or spreading false or misleading information regarding digital asset prices.

• Deploying malicious code, viruses, or exploits intended to damage, interrupt, or extract data from the Interface.

• Circumventing geoblocking or network security measures implemented by the Platform.

4. Fees, Gas, and Smart Contract Transactions

Transactions on public blockchains require the payment of network fees ("Gas Fees") to miners or validators. Gas Fees are dynamic and dictated by network conditions, not by OxBit. You acknowledge that Gas Fees are non-refundable regardless of whether a transaction succeeds, fails, or is cancelled.

OxBit may implement native protocol or interface swap fees. Any such fees will be clearly disclosed to you via the user interface prior to confirmation of the transaction.

5. Assumption of Blockchain Risks

By using OxBit, you acknowledge and explicitly assume the inherent risks of blockchain technology, including:

1. Volatility: Cryptographic assets are prone to extreme price fluctuations, liquidity crises, and may lose all financial value instantly.

2. Smart Contract Vulnerability: Software code deployed on the blockchain may contain hidden bugs, structural flaws, or zero-day exploits which could lead to a permanent loss of funds.

3. Impermanent Loss: Providing liquidity to decentralized automated market maker (AMM) pools carries the risk of asset rebalancing losses compared to holding the assets independently.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless explicitly indicated otherwise, the structural layouts, visual interfaces, website text, branding elements, graphics, and proprietary software mechanics are the intellectual property of OxBit. These elements may not be duplicated, reverse-engineered, or modified without explicit authorization. Code released under open-source licenses is strictly bound to the parameters of its respective license.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE INTERFACE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PROTOCOL WILL BE OPERATIONAL, SECURE, BUG-FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OXBIT, ITS DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTOR GROUPS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, NOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, CRYPTOGRAPHIC TOKENS, OR FUNDS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute arising from your use of the Interface, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with principles of customary international commercial law and decentralized dispute resolution, without giving effect to conflicts of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding shall be settled by binding arbitration, and you waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or jury trials.

10. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to amend, alter, or replace these Terms at our sole discretion at any time. The updated Terms will become effective immediately upon being posted to the website interface. Your continued use of OxBit following such postings denotes your comprehensive legal acceptance of the modifications.
